Imprinted concrete sealing

Imprinted concrete is very hard wearing surface and is now an increasingly popular choice for homeowners who are having a new driveway laid. Because of the lower maintenance costs, it is a good alternative to block paving.

Unlike block paving, there are no visible joints with imprinted concrete. This makes it much harder for weeds to grow on the surface and easier to maintain over a longer period. UV rays from direct sunlight can make it lose a lot of its original colour over time. Wear and tear from tyres and foot traffic will also erode the surface over time as well.

It is best to re-seal any imprinted concrete every 3-4 years to ensure the original colouring is protected. If this is not done, the bare concrete in the base can become visible over time that will make the concrete look 'patchy'.

We are approved installers for Smartseal concrete sealers for Warwickshire. The high quality concrete sealers that Smartseal supply give the best protection to any concrete surface over a longer period.
